Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon in 2006, where she was awarded a Merit Scholarship.
She completed a 12-month clinical internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, followed by clinical training at the Canine Center of Badajoz.
She completed a postgraduate qualification in Cardiology, including the General Practitioner Certificate in Cardiology, through Improve Ibérica and the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies.
She also completed a postgraduate degree in Small Animal Clinical Practice at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
She holds a Certificate III in Captive Animals from TAFE NSW, Australia.
She has been working in companion animal practice since 2006 and has completed multiple continuing education courses in Clinical Medicine, Feline Medicine, and Diagnostic Imaging.
In 2014, she began a clinical internship under the supervision of Ana Paula Resende, attending ophthalmology consultations and surgeries at Vetvisão between 2014 and 2020.
She completed a postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2020 and joined the Vetvisão clinical team in September of the same year.
