He obtained his Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and his PhD in 2024 from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.

Since the beginning of his academic and professional career, he has been consistently dedicated to veterinary anesthesia and analgesia. He holds a postgraduate qualification in anesthesia and advanced training in locoregional anesthesia and mechanical ventilation, complemented by several clinical internships at leading veterinary hospitals in Spain and England.

He is the founder of DS VetAnesthesia Solutions, a company dedicated to veterinary anesthesiology, where he works as a consultant in anesthesia and analgesia.

In parallel, he has been actively involved in scientific research, with a particular focus on locoregional anesthesia techniques and analgesia monitoring.
